I want to get everyone in the mood to celebrate Independence Day. So, here you go… some pre-Fourth of July fireworks:

I shot that video during the 29^th annual Spencerville Summerfest in Spencerville Ohio. It is a little town west of Lima in Allen County. My parents grew up and graduated high school there. My dad still lives there.

Spencerville holds its annual festival the each year the weekend before the Fourth of July. It has become a tradition for my four sisters and me to gather there each year. This is pretty significant considering three of my sisters now live out of state in Tennessee, Georgia, and Illinois.

This year four of us made the trip to Summerfest. I miss my sisters so much and it was great to all be back together again (even if it was just for a day.) I also got to see my Nieces and nephew. Marah is five. The twins, Luke and Laiken will be four in August. They have grown so much and my son, Kelan, loves to play with his big cousins. Here is some of their fun during the festival:
