A couple weeks ago I posted a video of Fox Toledo photojournalist Craig Picklesmier’s wedding. Well, we celebrated another Fox Toledo this past weekend.

Photojournalist Mike Thompson and Fox Toledo News Fist at Ten producer Katie Snodgrass were joined in marriage. It was quite the affair. The reception at the pinnacle was beautiful and most of the Fox Toledo family was there. It was also a lot of fun meeting their family members, most of which are regular Fox Toledo viewers.

Moving on the other items:

I am every excited to go on a mini vacation this weekend. I will be camping at Mohican State Park in Eastern. It is one of my favorite Ohio spots. I have a lot planned. Hopefully I’ll be able to cram all of the hiking, canoeing, swimming, biking, tubing, and relaxing in. I’ll try to remember to take some video. But, I might to too busy enjoying the great outdoors.

I’m sad summer is about over. It seems like we didn’t have very much of a summer. It was especially bad at my house. We were doing a lot of construction. We put in a patio, had the house painted, and re-seeded the yard. Plus, our street has had a major sewer replacement project underway since Memorial Day. Needless to say, our home looked like a war zone pretty much all summer long.

I am excited fall is here. Ohio is its most beautiful in September and October. I plan on putting the pumpkins out next week. Halloween is perhaps my most favorite holiday and my son and I started planning for it last week. Kelan says he wants to dress up like a cow. He also wants me to be a sheep and my husband a chicken. To top it off, he wants his Grandapa to be the Farmer in the Dell. (Gotta love 2 year olds.)

We are considering having a toddler Halloween Party. So, if you have any party ideas, be sure to pass them along.
