On October 14, 2004 I walked into FOX Toledo not sure if I’d made the right decision.

Prior to that day I had spent 8 months at another station in Toledo working behind the scenes and on-air then I moved to a station in Lima to work full-time as a reporter and eventually an anchor.

So on my first day at FOX Toledo I was a little nervous wondering if I had what it takes to work as a reporter in this market.

Here I am five years later reporting, anchoring, producing, shooting video…etc….

I’ve had a few downs but overall mostly ups here in Toledo and at my station.

The biggest achievements for me: earning employee of the year in 2008 and a cruise to the Bahamas!!!…..and the weekend crew winning an EMMY for Outstanding Weekend newscast in 2008.

I am very thankful and blessed to be here…..who knows what’s to come…because I had no idea this is how things would work out…but I do believe GOD IS IN CONTROL…so I will be just fine!!!
