Garden Adventures
After passing the Toledo Botanical Garden on numerous occasions, my friend Renee and I decided it was finally time to check it out!
Even though it’s winter and the flowers are blooming in the greenhouse, there is plenty to do outside! It’s gorgeous to walk around and see the snowy trees and fields, and you can visit any day during daylight hours. For more information on events and happenings at the Garden, you can stop at the visitor’s center while you’re there. Plus, if you are planning any events for the warmer months, now is the perfect time to do so.
Renee and I also learned something that many people don’t know about! While the greenhouse is not open to the public, and the flowers are not brought out until it’s warm enough for them to flourish, you can get a sneak peek by becoming a volunteer and working in the greenhouse!
