Out of Hibernation

Has anyone noticed that when the weather finally breaks here in Toledo, it feels like bears coming out of hibernation? We awake from the long, snowy, cold winter to open our eyes for the first time in 5 months.
The grass is green again, the fiery ball in the sky is burning hot again, and 6 inches of dust on your windows rises as you try to remember how to open them.
But I thing I laugh about the most, is this almost reintroduction to your neighbors.
It’s like meeting the person all over again. You feel like it’s been 3 years since you have seen them. Sure you saw them during each snow storm, but with a parka and heavy ski hat they were merely an eskimo form of their former selves.
So get outside and catch up with your neighbor. They’d really like it if you noticed they’ve lost 4 pounds since your last visit.
