I’m hoping it’s not cloudy tonight (“partly” is what the National Weather Service is predicting) so I can check out the Perseid meteor shower.

The trick’ll be finding a nice open spot to watch from.

After spending 60+ hours at the Wood County fair in the past week, I can say I was pretty surprised at how clear the sky was just outside the fairgrounds, despite the light pollution from Bowling Green.

Still, I’m thinking it’ll be worth finding an even better location tonight — any suggestions?
