I’m really excited because my cousin, Nicole (who is a year younger than me and basically like my sister), is coming to visit me for the first time since I moved here; so, I get to be the ultimate tour guide/host all weekend long!
After I pick her up at the airport tomorrow night, the itinerary of fun goes as follows:

On Friday I’ll be anchoring the FOX Toledo News @ Midday (so make sure you watch); so I’m going to bring her to the studio with me to give her an exclusive tour. Then I think we’ll have lunch somewhere downtown so I can show her more of Toledo; and then I suppose we’ll relax just for a little bit (or shop, which is far more likely).

On Saturday I plan on taking her to the German American Festival. I’m really excited because I have never been before, and rumor has it that it’s one of the best summer festivals in the area (and I don’t know if you have noticed, but this area has a LOT of summer festivals to partake in)!

Then on Sunday…drum roll please…we are going to the American Idols Live concert at the Hunting Center! I’m so excited! Especially because we had tickets for the original date, and when it got switched we didn’t think we were going to be able to go; but, like all good things in life, it all worked out!
