German American Festival

I had such a fun-filled weekend with my cousin here in Toledo! From eating at my favorite restaurants to seeing the American Idols Live Concert, it was action packed and very memorable!

To see my video footage and pictures from the concert go to my page on foxtoledo.com and my facebook page!

Now, however, I must tell you about the awesomeness that was the German American Festival!

When I studied abroad in college I traveled A LOT and got to see some of the coolest places and things, one of which being Oktoberfest in Munich, Germany. I’ve been to Oktoberfest’s here and there since then that have been really fun, but I can honestly say that the German American Festival was the closest I have ever seen next to the real thing! From the tents to the food to the clothes (aka lederhosen), it was just perfect! It was such a cool atmosphere with the best authentic German music. Plus, I got the cutest stuffed animal in a German outfit (pictured below) that I absolutely had to have. There was something for everyone, and if you have never been I highly recommend going next year!

Fall is one of my favorite seasons and being at the GAF really got me really excited for the cooler weather and fun festivals coming up in the very near future!

What a great blog. I spend hours on the cyberspace reading blogs, about tons of different subjects. I have to first of all give praise to whoever built your theme and intermediate of all to you for writing what i can only describe as an fabulous article. I honestly think there is a ability to writing articles that only very few posses and honestly you have it. The combination of demonstrative and upper-class content is definitely super rarified with the king-sized amount of blogs on the internet.
